Thanksgiving

October 10, 2011

My mum. I can’t begin to list all of the things she’s helped me with this past year. She continually gives and loves with all she has even when I make the most ridiculous mistakes. She is my rock, my anchor, my universe.

My family. I have a great support system. I’m happy to only have one dysfunctional relative (whom I choose not to have too much of a relationship with)

My friends. They let me talk their ears off with nonsense, rants, hopes and dreams. I love them all.

The things I take for granted everyday. The roof over my head, the shoes on my feet, the clothes on my back. Running water, heat and electricity.

My morals. You may think this is a funny thing to be thankful, but I’m happy with the person I am. I see a lot of people act and react in such negative manners. I can’t possibly fathom being the kind of person that thinks certain things are acceptable and respectable. I’m very thankful for the way I was raised and for my manners.
